To help with our Roman history unit this term, we had a virtual session with the museum where we learnt about our local Roman site, Silchester. We also looked at old artefacts. To extend this further, we then visited the museum where we took part in a trail to find clues and answer some questions we had been given the week before. We really enjoyed having a chance to see the artefacts in real life, as well as try on some more traditional clothing options.
