States of Matter - take 2
Year 4 are continuing their topic of States of Matter for a little longer and made good observations during our investigations surrounding gases. We discussed the different gases we knew, before undertaking two experiments. The first involved bicarbonate of soda and vinegar and the reaction that was created. They were careful with their measuring and loved the overflowing bubbles. The second looked into gases in fizzy water and what affect it plays on the liquid. Children made some fantastic statements, including why the bubbles wrapped and 'clung' to the raisins. We were so proud of them!
