States of Matter
As part of our states of matter topic in science this term, the children this afternoon took part in an open investigation, looking at and considering the different properties of Oobleck (a cornflour/water Solution.) The class were accurate with their measuring skills and made some fantastic observations, including the use of force and how the materials changed from solid to liquid state and what happened when they stopped moving it around, it became one solid block. We were really impressed with the class and their observations, well done!
