As part of their festive celebrations Foundation Stage made Christmas Cards to send to their homes. They put their card into an envelope and attached their home address and a stamp. The children then looked at a map of the local area around school to plan their route and spotted familiar places such as the park and Tesco! We put on high vis jackets and walked carefully with a partner along the pavement and looked/listened before crossing the road. We then predicted how many days it would take for our cards to reach our homes. Our guesses ranged from 1 - 9 days!
