Roman Life session at Reading Museum

As part of our Roman topic, today we attended Reading Museum to take part in a Roman life session. Here we found out about Silchester, a local Roman town, and looked at the different tribes and styles of Roman and Celtic people. The children were fantastic at learning all the new facts and taking part in treasure hunt and bridge building activities. They also took on many roles, from rich Romans to blacksmiths and hairdressers.

We are so proud of how they all behaved in both the Museum and walking around a very wet town centre. Well done Year 4!
