In DT we have been looking at different structures. We looked at different materials and their strengths. We also reviewed different chairs and explained their strengths and weaknesses. The children then had to create chairs out of junk modelling materials suitable for a baby bear to sit on. Year 2 did a great job with this and showed lots of resilience when trying to make their chairs strong enough to stand on their own and for baby bear to sit on safely!
