This week, we are entering Downsway's 50th anniversary, which is the topic for our creativity week. We kicked it off in style with Miss White running a dance through the decades workshop. As our era is 'The 2000s' we learnt how to do The Dougie and listened to big hits from our time. We also enjoyed a clay workshop where we helped create a unique commemorative piece to celebrate the school's 50th anniversary. We each created our own clay face, which has been incorporated into the final piece that has now been taken away for firing. We can't wait to see the finished piece! To finish the week, we had our dress as the decades non-uniform day.
