Today in Year 1 we had a wonderful Peter Rabbit themed day!

We began the morning by reading the story of Peter Rabbit. During our learning activity time the children enjoyed creating with Easter playdough, playing a Peter Rabbit themed game and making their own bunny ears (see picture!). They carefully cut them out and assembled them onto their headbands.

In maths, we had great fun spinning a number spinner, recognising the number, and then doing the same number of bunny hops to match!

We also had a special surprise when Miss Gale’s pet rabbit, Rosie, joined us via FaceTime on the big board. The children loved watching her hop around and learning more about how to care for rabbits.
