Year 2 had a very special opportunity to learn about Paralympian Aaron Phipps and his incredible sporting journey. The children discovered how Aaron competes in wheelchair rugby at the Paralympic Games and were amazed to learn that he has won a gold medal through hard work, teamwork, and determination.

We heard from Aaron about what it takes to train at such a high level. Year 2 enjoyed having time to ask thoughtful questions about Aaron’s sport, his training, and what it’s like to compete.
