We made Christmas cards for our families and then walked to the local postbox to post them to our homes. We learnt about why we needed to put a stamp and address on the envelope and looked at our route on a map. We also talked about road safety and walked very sensibly with a partner in a long line to the postbox with adults from school. We then predicted how many days our cards would take to reach our homes. We had guesses ranging from 0–100 days! Here are some photos from our walk.
