In Science this term, we have been looking at materials and their properties. We took part in an investigation to see how we could separate different mixtures such as salt dissolved in water, flour and raisins, sand and water and paper-clips and rice. We talked about the different methods for separation including evaporation, sieving, filtering and using magnetism. We are really enjoying the practical elements of Science.
