Hello and welcome to Year 3!

My name is Mr Bolton and I am the class teacher from Tuesday-Friday.  Mrs Jones is the teacher on Mondays with Miss Worlin covering for the time being. 

Reading

Reading scheme books will be changed on a Tuesday and Friday as long as the book has been completed and  signed by an adult in the reading record.  Reading scheme books should be in school every day as the children will read them daily in class. Library books will also be issued and changed in our library slot once your child has finished the book. 

Homework

In Year 3, the children will have spelling and maths homework each week.

Spellings will be set on spelling shed and spelling checks will take place on a Friday afternoon each week. Maths homework will be weekly on mymaths. 

P.E.

P.E. is on a Tuesday and Friday. PE will be indoors on a Tuesday and outdoor on Friday, so please ensure suitable outdoor PE clothing is in school especially as the weather gets colder.
