Today some of our class took part in a football tournament at Denefield as part of their opening of their 3G pitch, playing against local primary schools. Our Year 6 footballers played amazingly well; winning all their games and gaining a trophy for the trophy cabinet!  The medals and trophy were presented by a Premier league footballer who plays for Brentford and used to attend Denefield. We are very proud of the children – great tackles, great defending, great goal scorers and only conceded one goal!
