Maths!

Recently in maths we have been looking at measure. We have explored length and height, identifying the shortest and the tallest. In class, we then moved on to looking at measuring objects using non-standard units. We began by measuring the height of one of our friends and had to decide on the best objects to use; straws, hands, cubes or lollipop sticks. Children then spent the morning measuring different objects around the classroom with cubes. Our next maths lesson will focus on measuring using a standard unit of measure - cm.
