Monday - In Phonics we learnt the 's' sound. We practised writing it in mark making trays and on post-it notes, we make snakes using playdough, and we decorated our own 's' at the creative table. In Maths we had a go at matching pictures of resources to the right number. We have a couple of new learning activities - a fairy area and a pirate area, as well as our Phonics mark making area.

Tuesday - We learnt the sound 'a' and then did some activities linked to the sound, for example apple printing. In Maths we thought about the different ways we can make 5, for example 3 and 2, in the water tray and in the role play shop. We continued to practise our colour mixing skills using the squeezy bottles of paint. In P.E. we practised moving in different ways along the equipment.
