27.09.21 - Today we had some new learning activities to enjoy - a role-play shop, a play-doh area and a transport area. We have started a science experiment involving flowers and coloured water. We are going to watch the flowers during the week to see what happens. In Maths we recapped the numbers 1, 2 and 3 and also thought about different heights. In the pictures you can see us trying to reach for the different animals - some children could reach more than others because we are all different heights. We used language like taller and shorter. In the afternoon we did some more colour mixing, although not everyone has had a turn...yet!!

28.09.21 - Today we became 4's Detectives, and we practised finding and counting out 4 objects. We sponge printed our own number 4 Numberblocks. We also played a Numberblocks Feely Bag game where we had to try and choose the Numberblocks in the right order without looking in the bag.

29.09.21 - Today we went on our Number walks around the local area. We searched for the numbers 1-4 in particular. We found numbers on houses, bins, cars, buses and signs. We also started to decorate our houses (cereal boxes) with windows and doors. We had to count out how many of each thing we wanted.
